Stop & Heal does not require an account. You only have one if you switched on backup and signed in with Google or Apple. If you never did, there is nothing on our side to delete — deleting the app removes everything.
From inside the app, in under a minute:
Your account and your cloud backup are erased straight away. The progress on the device in your hand is not erased, so you can carry on using the app without an account.
If you have lost the device or can no longer reach the app, write to help@stopandheal.com from the address you signed in with, and we will delete the account for you within 30 days.
Your account record — the user ID we generate for you, plus the e-mail address and display name that Google or Apple passed to us when you signed in.
Your cloud backup — the journeys you track, your quit dates, your day counts, your streaks and relapses, your vow, your gratitude notes, your Light balance and the cosmetics you own.
Both are deleted immediately and permanently. We keep no separate archive, and nothing is retained beyond 30 days.
Your journal. Journal entries are written to your device only and are never uploaded — with or without an account.
Your mood check-ins and your breathing and calming session counts. These are health data and they stay on the device; they are deliberately excluded from the backup.
Your conversations with Fener, the AI companion. Messages are relayed to produce a reply and are not stored.
None of these need deleting, because we never received them. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
Your subscription. Subscriptions are handled by Google Play and the App Store, not by us, and deleting your account does not cancel one. To cancel on Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Anything you have e-mailed us. Support mail stays in our mailbox unless you ask us to remove it at help@stopandheal.com.
